Varieties
The brand macrocarpum coriander grows in warm climates, and is characterized by fruits (improperly called seeds) larger (5 mm) and lighter colored, but with a lower content of essential oil. Conversely ,the microcarpum fruits variety, grown in continental climate countries, are smaller (3 mm), brown and aromatic. Its taste is sharp, due the greater content of essential oil.
